On behalf of BTP Federation, Police Money Matters (PMM) is providing retirement seminars.

The itinerary is tailored to suit the needs of officers who are nearing retirement or who are in the last 18 months of their service.

Members who are approaching retirement or have completed 30 years pensionable service are invited to join with their spouse/partner, if appropriate, as there are some important decisions to consider as an individual and as a couple. Refreshments and a buffet lunch will be provided.

PMM are holding the next seminar at The British Transport Police Federation Offices, 134 Thurlow Park Road, West Dulwich, London SE21 8HN, at 11.00 hrs on Wednesday 17th August 2022.

If you wish to attend, please register via this link, selecting British Transport Police from the list of regions.

Agenda for the day:
10.30 Tea and coffee on arrival
11.00 Start of Seminar
13.00 Buffet Lunch
13.45 Recommence
15.00 Seminar concludes

  • The pros and cons of paying off your mortgage
  • Cash-flow forecasting - do you really need to work following retirement?
  • Looking out for parents - specialist long-term care planning and inheritance planning
  • Looking out for children - family mortgage planning/pensions/savings

Who are Police Money Matters?
PMM have been advising police officers across the UK for over 22 years and have an excellent reputation for not only delivering interesting and thought-provoking seminars but, more importantly, for their results. Their aim is to ensure that you can maintain your lifestyle throughout your retirement, up to state pension age and beyond.

Webinars and online consultations
PMM have been working on offering clients access to webinars and one-to-one financial consultations digitally or face-to-face. They recognise that not everyone can attend their financial seminars or one-day, pre-retirement courses held at police forces across the UK, and this approach enhances their existing offering.
