Federation review: tell us what you think

Hundreds of members have already completed a survey issued as part of an independent review of BTP Federation.

The review was announced to coincide with the organisation's one hundredth anniversary and aims to ensure the Federation is in the best possible shape for the future. An independent panel, led by Peter Smyth, CEO of a police charity and a former Chair of the Met Police Federation, is looking at several aspects of the Federation including efficiency, accountability, and resources.

Nigel Goodband, Chair of BTP Federation, said: "While you may be feeling 'surveyed-out', it is crucial we hear from you, our members. We want to be a more diverse representative association that is inclusive, efficient, professional, and cost-effective but what do YOU want from your Federation?".

A link to the survey has been sent to all members of BTP Federation. Questions can be answered anonymously, and the survey should take 10-15 minutes to complete, depending on your responses. Everyone who completes the survey will have the option of separately entering themselves into a prize draw. The top prize is £300 of vouchers, with a further two respondents winning £150 and £50 of vouchers respectively. The survey closes on Tuesday 15 March.

The progress made by the review team will be shared via our website and in the Chair's monthly blog. If you haven't received the survey link or have any questions about the review, please email info@btpfed.co.uk.
