Temporary closure of Police Treatment Centres

The Police Treatment Centres, St Andrews in Harrogate and Castlebrae in Auchterarder, will close at midday tomorrow (Friday 20 March) until further notice. This is as a result of the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.

We are advised that all future bookings for both centres, for either the Physiotherapy Programme or Psychological Wellbeing Programme will also be suspended, and no further bookings will be taken for the foreseeable future.

All hospitality bookings, including Bed and Breakfast, Health and Wellbeing Weekends, Meetings and St George's House, will also be suspended for a period of three months. This will be reassessed as the situation changes and if the charity is able to re-commence any earlier than this, then they will do so.

The Chief Executive of the Police Treatment Centres, Patrick Cairns said: "The safety of our patients, guests and staff is paramount, and we apologise for any inconvenience that the closure may cause. We are currently monitoring the situation as it develops on a daily basis and look forward to resuming the full range of services at the earliest opportunity."

Further updates will be made available on the charity's website, so please avoid calling them at this time.
