Learn more about prostate cancer

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men; 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with this form of cancer in their lifetime.

On Wednesday 17 November, Kevin Hopgood, a volunteer with the charity Prostate Cancer UK, will be giving a talk aimed at raising awareness of the symptoms and tools available to people living with prostate cancer.

Organised by BTP's Wellbeing Team, this virtual session is open to all officers, staff and volunteers.

The session will cover information on what a prostate is, conditions that can affect the prostate, knowing your risk, common symptoms of a prostate problem, as well as going through a risk checker. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions.

This one-off session will take place via teams from 11am to 12pm on 17 November. To book your place email wellbeing@btp.police.uk and the link will be sent to you.
